The Van Dam team was asked to design and build a new gentleman’s racer that embodies some of the best features of the Gold Cup boats of the 1920’s. To answer that challenge, a classic round sheer and torpedo stern shape were drawn and then carefully proportioned to allow a cockpit with seating for four.

As found on some designs of that period, a raised coaming around the cockpit goes forward and frames the engine bay.

Custom polished stainless steel and chromed bronze hardware add to her classic look. Power comes from a custom built and tastefully presented small block Chevrolet.

Hand selected and matched mahogany planking, state of the art cold molded construction, and beautiful joinery executed by Van Dam’s craftsmen will ensure this racer provides summer fun for generations to come.
